twitch messed up hard somewhere. people who never play dmca music got striked for playing the most redicules things. a ton of poe streamers like zizaran (twitch embassador) who don't even think about playing anything other then dmca free music and/or has licenses for things like monstercat etc got striked for playing classic sonata's, 90's rave and kpop stuff today. example on his twitter.
Twitch used to keep old streams online, but only if enough people watched them afterwards. While none of the links in there probably have any value (unless OP has some sneaky backdoor idea, since I'm certain Twitch purged all these), there's still a little bit of "history" that's interesting to look back on.
Just click on the link in my comment :) That's all there is to it. On the page that opens just ctrl+f created_at to highlight the date, e.g.: "created_at":"2022-11-02T00:51:38Z". Bear in mind it's in UTC so you'd have to look up what time is it in your timezone. shinyspeed.
Nope. If you use material that you don't have the rights to and the rightsholder isn't satisfied with merely having the vod muted, they are legally allowed to send you a DMCA takedown anyway. Twitch's muting system does precisely nothing to prevent them from exercising that right should they choose to. 5.

They REALLY should have been more transparent about these changes outside of a blog post very few people will read. Half my friends jumped ship yesterday to other streaming sites because they were unhappy with old VODs marked save forever all deleted without any notification on the main site. That just goes to show how important VODs are to people.
I need this for VODs, and I don't have enough memory to download full 7 hour VODs, and I do not want to download 1 hour, watch it, delete it, download 1 hour, watch it, delete it, and do that 5 more times. That's ridiculous. It was already working perfectly, I just don't know what link MChat was grabbing. It did it all with 1 button.
